Enabling 64-bit Operating System's options in Oracle Virtualbox
While installing the guest OS on Virtualbox, if it doesn't show the option to choose 64-bit OSes like Ubuntu64 or RedHat64, you may perform below steps to enable 64-bit Virtualization :
Both Virtualization options like "Intel (R) Virtualization Technology" and "Intel (R) VT-d Feature" can be enabled at the hardware level in the BIOS utility.
1) Go to to BIOS Utility (Press F1/F2/F8/F9/F12 based on your settings while booting up system).
2) Go to Advanced Options
3) Go to Security Options
4) Set Virtualization Options to Enabled
5) Save, Exit and Reboot the system
That's it, now you can see the option to install 64-bit OS in Virtualbox !!
